A system generated numerical id for the item. Cannot be altered.

A system generated unique id in the form of a hash to obscure numerical id.

The text of the notification.

The id of the user being notified.

The type of notification indicating the originating mechanism.

Flag indicating whether the notification has been viewed or not.

The date the notification was viewed.
